The Lavender & Leaf Team

At Lavender & Leaf, our passion for natural wellness is more than just a business—it's a way of life.

We are a team of three dedicated people who believe in the power of the natural world in promoting a healthy mind, body, and spirit, community, and mindful living. Each of us is on our own path of holistic wellness, and it is the unique convergence of these journeys that forms the heart of our brand. Our shared commitment is rooted in the experience of living a more natural and intentional life, and we are excited to share in the journey with our clients.

Casey Folkertsma

Casey brings a unique perspective to the world of holistic wellness. Grounded in her education in biomedical science with an emphasis on nutrition, she deeply understands that our nutrition has a direct and important impact on our wellness. This knowledge is a core component of her personal philosophy, but her passion for health extends far beyond a clinical view.

As a co-owner of Cloudscape Hill Lavender Farm, a role she is deeply passionate about, her practical experience on the farm complements her scientific background. She is currently working on her yoga instructor certification, a perfect example of her belief in seeking wholeness in all elements of our health and seamlessly integrating a holistic lifestyle with a scientific understanding of the human body.

Dr. James Liter

As a practicing ecotherapist and co-owner of Cloudscape Hill Lavender Farm, Jim is literally grounded in his work. He finds a profound sense of "right at home" in the lavender fields, where the ecopsychological principle that a person's well-being is intrinsically tied to the health and vitality of the earth is continuously reinforced. The act of cultivating lavender and crafting wellness products is itself an embodiment of reciprocal ecological healing. By nurturing the land and transforming its yield into products that engage the senses, Jim facilitates a direct, tangible bridge between nature and wellness.

As co-owner of Lavender & Leaf, he invites others to find their deep sense of wellness and belonging by actively engaging in their journey with a selection of natural wellness products, sourcing not just from the lavender fields but also from a community of local artisans dedicated to the natural world.
